Just a few days ago we reported on the all new truck for Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live that was debuting, Skelesaurus, and when it was making its debut. With the truck now being seen in person doing a display at a Walmart, one of its drivers has also been revealed, and its a legendary driver who has been out of the seat for quite some time.

Former owner of the King Krunch monster truck, David Smith, will return behind the wheel and compete in Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live for the first time. David has had a very long career in Monster Trucks, starting his career as a crew chief for Scott Stephens, the original owner of King Krunch. Eventually Smith would acquire the name and run it until 2018, where he sold the truck to Dillion Fenley. Since the, Smith has not driven a Monster Truck, with Toledo, Ohio marking his first appearance inside a monster truck since 2018. Smith’s Skelesaurus truck will be campaigned on Muddy Girl, which was formerly running the Demo Derby name. Skelesaurus will be also running under Taylor Holman this weekend in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and it is unknown if the truck will run internationally and who else will be campaigning the name.
