The Stompin’ Grounds in Lamar, Missouri will see a fresh new take on an exciting racing style in just over two weeks.

The track style is an adaptation of the famous Over Under style (or Cross Over style), which has seen many different forms over the years. However, this new style, named “Stompin’ Style”, will feature a unique layout that will provide fantastic racing. Drivers will start on a pad facing back to back. After this, both drivers will make a turn to enter into the over under section of the track, then navigating to the straight away. Drivers then complete another lap, switching from over to under or vice versa, before completing the race after they cross the finish line on the straight away. Below I’ve attached a sketch of what this new style will look like.

Obviously this is just a sketch but it gives you an idea of how the racing style will look. I really like the straightaways and the winding jumps throughout, and I look forward to seeing the racing style come to life in 2 weeks time.

Taking place on July 26th and 27th, 8 of the toughest monster trucks will take on the new Stompin’ Style track on Friday and Saturday night. This lineup includes drivers like Tim Jones in Tailgator, Alec White in Bad Decision, and two top teams with Team Throttle Monster and Team DCT Powersports being represented at this event.
