For the first time ever, the 2023 World Champion Tristan England will drive JCB DIGatron in its first international appearance.

Earlier today, Monster Jam made a post on their social media revealing the 8th driver who will compete in London on July 13th, 2024. After being listed as TBA for months, the final driver/truck pairing is revealed to be none other than Tristan England in the JCB DIGatron.

This will mark the international debut for the JCB-sponsored truck, however this is not the first time England has driven internationally. England has competed internationally before in countries like the Netherlands, Puerto Rico, Australia, and many more. However, this is Tristan England’s first international show since May 6th, 2023, which saw him campaign Blue Thunder at Durban, South Africa.

So what gives? Well there’s a reason as to why DIGatron is making its international debut so soon, and in London specifically. JCB was founded in the United Kingdom, and has since established its presence across the world including a newly opened factory in San Antonio that coincided with the trucks debut earlier in January. With this in mind, it only makes sense to bring the JCB DIGatron over to compete in its sponsor’s home country.
