Four New World Champions Crowned at the World Finals

Four New World Champions Crowned at the World Finals

Last night was definitely one of the most anticipated World Finals in a long time- and I’d say it delivered. We will be doing a show review in a couple of weeks about the show, but for now here’s a brief recap of last nights events.

After an amazing pit party it was time for 2 Wheel Skills. The competition showed an remarkable amount of skill, but in the end it was Armando Castro taking his first 2 Wheel Skills Championship. This now technically makes him a two time World Champion as Castro won the Speedster Championship in 2019.

During High Jump the later drivers struggled to get the grip to effectively launch their trucks. Many drivers had to stage off to the side for maximum grip. However, it would be Colt Stephens adding a High Jump championship to his collection.

The Sparkle Smash debut was a great way to start the show off with a bang. It was so good to see the Wall of Steel stunt return and its going to be great to see the truck start competing from East Rutherford.

Racing was easily the best part of the night. Upset after upset, drama and storylines were plenty. It was a wild night of racing, and culminated in one of the best storybook endings for a racing competition. The defending racing champion Tristan England squared off against Zack Garner for the 23rd Racing Championship. Zack Garner would end up taking home the gold and etching his name into the history books much to the emotional delight of his father Jamey Garner.

The Fortnite Half Time stunt was absolutely incredible- to be honest it was one of the coolest encores in a long time. The battle bus- and the Fortnite truck as a whole was torn to shreds in an awesome fireworks and pyro display. Stay tuned for the 24th of May to see Fortnite’s upcoming partnership.

Freestyle was an absolute truck killer. Very little trucks survived the full 2 minutes. But in the end it was Tyler Menninga who won the heart of the judges in an all out amazing freestyle run.

For my first World Finals, it was absolutely amazing. A core memory I’ll never forget. I met so many of you fans and I cannot tell you how grateful I was. We will be doing a Show Review on our channel soon as well as a vlog so make sure to check those out in the coming weeks!
